Quality care to colorectal patients demands the nurses to be abreast of changing trends in colorectal cancers and be competent in providing comprehensive care to patients with colorectal cancers.

Since the treatment of colorectal cancers is multimodal, a committed colorectal Nursing team helps the patients to understand the disease better and provides guidance appropriately in collaboration with multi disciplinary team.

Hence, the Department of Surgical Nursing in collaboration with Colorectal Surgery Unit, Christian Medical College, Vellore is organizing a workshop on the theme” Colorectal Nursing – A Leading edge”
to update the knowledge and skills of nurses caring for patients with colorectal cancers.”
