Indian Journal of Continuing Nursing Education (IJCNE) is a nationally registered biannual publication which is approved by UGC and is included in the UGC care list. It is included in the National Science Library (ISSN 2230 – 7354), indexed with the Indian Citation Index. The journal follows a rigorous double blinded peer review process with editors and reviewers from India and abroad.

From the year 2019 the journal is being published with Wolter Kluwers (Medknow Publishers) and the journal is now available both as online and print version. The journal allows free access (Open Access) to its contents with a comfortable and easy process of online submission and reviewing. The article processing charge is Rs 1500/- The archives of the articles published since 2015 are available on the journal website www.ijcne.org.

The publication of IJCNE is aimed at promoting professional scholarship and research activities to support nurses through continuing education. It is an effort to highlight relevant current perspectives in Nursing with input from eminent scholars of nursing and other health professions. The journal provides a learning platform to all nurses from all levels including registered nurses, nurse leaders, administrators, teaching faculty and student nurses.

IJCNE includes Concept articles, Case studies, Original research, Research in brief, CE series with CE test, Research series, Short communications/letter to editor and Student articles.

Our aim is that this journal will be accessible to all nurses working in both hospital and community health care settings through the free online portal which will enable nurses to access relevant and current information in health care and evidence based guidelines for nursing care
