Conference

The National Pediatric Nursing Conference – 2021 titled “Innovations and Advances in Paediatric Nursing : Gateway for Quality Care” was organized by Pediatric Nursing and CNE & Research department of College of Nursing, Christian Medical College, Vellore on June 24-25, 2021. A total of 331 participants from 20 different states of India and from 4 different countries actively attended the sessions and were benefitted.

Distance Education on Stoma Care Nursing

 

Distance education course on Stoma care Nursing was organised for one batch by the Department of CNE & Research along with the Department of Surgical Nursing. There were six participants from Kerala, Karnataka, Tamilnadu and New Delhi. Faculty were from the Departments of Surgical Nursing, CNE, Colorectal Surgery, and Chaplaincy.

The peritoneal dialysis short course for the first time was organised and conducted from January 15 to February 14, 2020. There were totally two participants one from AIIMS, New Delhi and the other an alumnus of Government College of Nursing, Vellore

Distance Education on Stoma Care Nursing

 

Distance education course on Stoma care Nursing was organised for one batch by the Department of CNE & Research along with the Department of Surgical Nursing. First contact classes were from 5/11/18 to 10/11/18 and the second contact classes were 28/1/19 to 2/2/19 respectively. There were four participants from New Delhi, Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu. Faculty were from the Departments of Surgical Nursing, CNE, Colorectal Surgery, and Chaplaincy. Online modules were uploaded in the CMC   e - learning website and each student was given an individual password to access the content.

Distance education course on Stoma care Nursing was organised in collaboration with the Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives council for 30 registered nurses (Government-11; private 19) from 19.6.17-25.6.17. Distance education course on Stoma care nursing was organised by the Department of CNE and Research, College of Nursing with 5 participants from Chennai, Vellore and Bangalore. First contact classes were from 6/11/17 to 11/11/17 and second contact session 29/1/18 to 4/2/18. Four participants completed the course. Faculty were from the Departments of Surgical Nursing, CNE, Colorectal Surgery, and Chaplaincy.
