- Awarded Centre of Excellence in 2000 by the Government of India
- Adjudged the best Nursing College in 2002 by NAAC (CMC conferred a five star rating by NAAC)
- Selected as the Study Centre of National Consortium for Ph.D. in Nursing in 2002
