INAUGRATION OF YOUTH RED CROSS
The Youth Red Cross Unit of College of Nursing, CMC, was formally inaugurated on 9th September 2011 at the college premises. Mrs. Rosaline Jayakaran, the then Dean, and the President of YRC, College of Nursing, Rev.Rout, Chaplain CMC, Mrs. Susheela Suriya Prakash, (former YRC District Secretary) and Dr. K. Ameenal Bidi (YRC District Organizer) were the dignitaries of the programme.
OBJECTIVES OF THE CLUB
The main objectives of the YRC movement are based on the seven basic principles of humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service and unity. It functions with the only aim of protection of health and life, service to the sick and people in distress without discrimination, and promotion of international friendship to develop the mental and moral capacities of youth.
The Youth Red Cross Unit of our college has been coordinating and organising various activities since 2011.
