The Advanced Simulation Center for Excellence in Nursing (ASCEN) of College of Nursing, Christian Medical College Vellore is a state-of-the-art facility, providing simulated clinical learning experience for all levels of nursing students and novice nurses with the objective of offering a stress free, safe, and self-directed learning environment. This Simulation Training Centre includes four speciality-specific simulation facilities – Nursing Foundation, Medical and Surgical Nursing, Child Health Nursing, and Maternity Nursing – all having advanced manikins and equipments. Simulation learning also provides opportunities for developing effective communication, critical thinking, and reflective abilities in nursing students.
