RESEARCH COMMITTEE ACTIVITIES AND SCHEDULE

Research Committee Activity

College of Nursing Research committee is instituted with an aim of promoting high quality clinical research and developing collaborative research. The committee meets every three months to scrutinize the research proposals submitted by College of Nursing faculty members and students. The submitted proposals are assigned to a minimum of two reviewers and the suggestions are presented during the meeting. Proposals are screened for scientific credibility and adherence to ethical standards. Proposals are either accepted with minimal corrections/ suggested for revision/ recommended for Institutional Review Board. Research committee also sanctions the budget amount (Maximum of Rs. 20000/ per proposal) for the conduct of the study. Studies requiring higher budget and interventional trials are directed to Institutional Review Board.
