Breast cancer is one the most common cancers in women globally as well as in India. According to the American Cancer Society (ACS), about one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime. Breast Cancer continues to threaten women’s health all over the world despite the many advances in treatment in recent years. It is our responsibility as nurses to ensure that patients who have been diagnosed with breast cancer receive the highest level of holistic nursing care.
This workshop will enable participants to
- Update their knowledge on benign and malignant breast disorders
- Understand the approaches to breast cancer management
- Demonstrate skills in caring for patients with Breast Cancer undergoing different modalities of treatment
